and display applications. It contains a full set of characters, including
diacritics, and has 477 kerning pairs.  Zowie!  Upper East Side resembles a
well-known display font called Parisian, which looks like the work of the
designer of the typeface Broadway on a GOOD day. It is called UpperEastSide
to complement my shareware font UpperWestSide, and because I've seen this

 FONDetective - FONDetective writes a text file reporting exhaustively on
every little last thing in the FOND resources of font suitcases. It works

way of error-reporting and helpful hints. If you want to know why a font
like AT&T Garamond is so evil to set, FONDetective will tell you. If you

 TTConverter 1.3.cpt - Since Microsoft Windows 3.1 was introduced, Windows
users have had the capability to display and print TrueType fonts. Because

the easy interchange of fonts between the Mac and Windows is how the fonts
are stored. Except for the location, the actual font data is usually
completely compatible. TTConverter is designed to move this font data

 Halloween Fonts 1.11.cpt - There are 3 Halloween style fonts. "Bones" is a
full Character set made of bones. "Graveyard and Tombstone" are a Spooky
looking font on Headstones. The difference between the two are the type of
Headstone. All fonts come in large point sizes so when printed at a
smaller size they can come out higher quality. Great fonts for halloween
newsletters, Invitations or whatever. Version 1.1 is only a minor fix of
the "Bones" Font. There was a problem with the capital "J" that was fixed.

 Printer Test Fonts - Vertical Line and Vertical Line Hinted are fonts where
the characters have been replaced with 222 vertical lines of increasing
thickness. As the names imply one is hinted and one is not, i.e., the fonts
are generated with and without the hinting scheme that helps fonts to print
better on lower resolution printers. Also included is a text file that
contains all 222 characters. Import this text file into your favorite word
processor, copy it so you have similar files separated by an empty line,
define each file to a different point size, and print the file using the
two fonts. Comparing these files will indicate how printing quality is
effected by hinting of the fonts.

this font especially for "Dr. Circuit 1.4" and for PSpice. Now it is
possible to show the circuit to be analized together with the description
of the circuit. This font now comes with three point sizes: 9 points, 18
points and 36 points because it gives better output on ImageWriters,
Deskjet printers and LaserWriters. This is only a screen font, but I'm
working on a Postscript version.

fonts drawn in an elegant and complex Art Nouveau style. A complete

decorated with vines and leaves and other greenery. The characters of

aIdeal template combining elements of the better ones I saw. The template
enclosed contains 2 pages and have paragraph samples in different sizes for
plain, bold, italic and bold italic, and contain the entire alphabet with
extended characters. Also includes 3 line leading variations. Templates are
enclosed for both Pagemaker 4.0 and QuarkXpress 3.0, since people like
either one or the other! Both work on the principle that changing one style
sheespecification will change text in all text boxes on the page. The
template is designed to be hole punched for a 3-ring binder, if you wish.

musical type, c. 1500. But the notation is modern, i.e. post-1600. Every
character has a segment of 5-line musical staff onto which notes,
clefs, rests, accidentals and dots have been put so that a simple musical
example in whole notes, halves, quarters or eighths (or any combination)
can be typed without the necessity of quitting to a drawing program or
notation program. It looks beautiful for single-line examples, but of

It is type 3, so it doesn't work with ATM.  The letters are black serif
letters in the middle of intricate floral designs and are not surrounded by
a box.  The letters themselves take up only about one fourth of the area of
each letter.  This font needed three fonts to hold all the PostScript code,
and loses detail below 72 points.  Also, using several characters on a
single page gives my printer fits, so it must be used sparingly. This font
is free, as another really cool thing from Bug-Bytes.

 Shalom is a fairly complete Hebrew typeface.  It is, however, just another
font as far as the Mac is concerned.  The standard American Macintosh is
not really set up for an alphabet that reads from right to left.  Anyone
using this font will find themselves composing Hebrew text “backwards,” or
left to right.  Sorry, there’s not a whole lot I can do about it.  If you
really need a Hebrew font that writes in the right direction, you probably
want something else.  Try some commercial places.  A company called Davka
based out of Israel has received high praise from others, but I know
nothing about them personally.

Torino -- similar to Bodoni, but condensed and less thick strokes.  Very
professionally executed, over 200 kerning pairs per font, and with a full
set of characters, including all the diacritics.  A very classy display
